在得到容副省长的肯定后，许一山起身，礼貌颔首，稳步走向了主持台。

接待晚宴流程上，并没有许一山发表讲话的流程。在许一山踏上主持台的时候，整个宴会厅都安静了下来。所有人的目光都聚焦在了许一山的身上。

许一山沉稳地扫视一遍宴会厅，面带微笑道：“尊敬的容副省长，各位考察团的外宾朋友，请允许我代表衡岳市委市政府对远道而来的贵宾们表示诚挚的问候。”

底下响起掌声。

许一山话锋一转，突然说道：“为方便客人，接下来，我将用英语发表讲话。”

“Seventy years ago, this was a great anti-fascist city. Because of this city, we have rewritten the course of history. Today, the world peace, there is our Hengyue made the heroic sacrifice.”

（70年前，这里是一个伟大的反法西斯战场。因为这座城市，我们改写了历史的进程。今天，世界和平，有我们衡岳人做出的英勇牺牲。）

“Today, our heroic and beautiful city welcomes you with open arms. I believe that in the future, we will become the best friend of all mankind, the most comfortable partner.”

（今天，我们这座英雄的、美丽的城市，敞开胸怀迎接诸位的到来。我相信，未来的我们，一定会成为全人类最好的朋友，最舒服
